Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk believes striker teammate Nunez, who joined Liverpool last season, is starting to fulfill his exciting potential in the team this season.
Nunez played a key role in Liverpool's 3-1 away win against LASK Linz in the UEFA Cup on Thursday. In the second half, he took a penalty to equalize and then was involved in Luis Diaz's goal. He then pressed for the ball to be snatched back, setting the stage for Salah to score the third goal.

Liverpool's substitutes also played an important role in the game. Salah, McAllister and Soboslo came off the bench in the second half to help complete the turnaround. Van Dijk said, "Linz was a bit tired at the time, so when these players came on we had a big advantage. But I have to say to all my teammates who started, well done. It was a big night for Ben Doc.
